Candidate for Aberdeen South
John Wheeler is the Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party candidate for the Aberdeen South constituency. John grew up in Aberdeen attending Mile End Primary then Aberdeen Grammar. Following this, John spent a number of years working in children services in the city and subsequently attending the University of Aberdeen to study counselling and psychotherapy.
In 2017 John was elected as the Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party Councillor for the Kingswells, Sheddocksley, Summerhill Ward. During his time as a Councillor John was the Convener of the Education and Children Services Committee, frequently relying on his past experience of working in education.
