Douglas Lumsden

Douglas Lumsden was elected as a Member of the Scottish Parliament for the North East Scotland region in May 2021. Previously he served as the Councillor for the Airyhall, Broomhill, and Garthdee ward in Aberdeen City Council from 2017 to 2022. During this time Douglas served as co-leader of the of the City Council until 2021 when he was elected to the Scottish Parliament.

He currently serves as the Shadow Minister for Public Finance, Planning, and Community Wealth.

Prior to entering politics Douglas spent more than 20 years working in the IT Industry.
