The Scottish Conservatives have selected Stewart Whyte as their candidate for the 2026 Scottish Parliamentary elections in Aberdeen Central.
(Aberdeen Central includes Ruthrieston, Rosemount, King St and George St, Ferryhill, Tillydrone, and Seaton.)
Stewart Whyte, a teacher by profession, was selected by local members in a meeting that discussed the state of Scotland's education and the lack of support for the Oil & Gas industry from the Scottish Government.
He will stand on the Scottish Conservative manifesto which includes overturning the SNP's presumption against new Oil & Gas, and tackling Scotland's drug horror with the Right to Recovery Bill.
Stewart Whyte said:
'It's time for a change.'
'The SNP have had their chance in Aberdeen, and have failed us. I am the real alternative in Aberdeen Central to 18 years of SNP mismanagement and I won't let you down.'
'We need Common Sense, for a change. The SNP and Labour are essentially the same party, they only disagree on who should be in charge. Labour will not help Scotland succeed again.'
'At next year's election give me your support and I'll beat the SNP and deliver on your priorities.'
